TGI Friday... whew. Tiring and wet week. It's been raining off and on since Wednesday, and pretty much non-stop today. But I survived. And I didn't get swept away by the rushing rivulets of water in the gutters or drown in a giant puddle, so w00t.

I went to the hospital before my shift today to visit my grandmother (the crazy-awesome one, not the crazy-next-door one). She had hip surgery this morning. Hospitals are not fun places. When I checked the weather on Thursday, it said it was supposed to rain through Tuesday.... =/ But it rained really hard last night and then cleared up today. (The weather forecast in the paper today was "Morning showers?" Yes, with a question mark, because apparently they're admitting that they don't actually know anything about the weather. It hailed last night! This is exciting as it only hails about once every ten years or so here. We pretty much have boring weather normally, just sun or clouds. It was just little bits of hail, but they came out our rain gutter and formed a big glop of ice on our lawn. Okay, I'll start from the beginning. The rain stopped right as we were supposed to start lining up. And it didn't thunder! Yay for the weather forecasts that tell nothing but lies! XD
